Garlic and Kale Pasta Recipe

  • Add the plant-based meat to a pan with the olive oil and cook for 5 minutes on a medium heat.
  • Chop the shallots, add to the pan and season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Finely chop the garlic and chilli. Lightly crush the fennel seeds.
  • Add all to the pan and continue to cook for another 5 minutes whilst stirring regularly.
  • Next, remove the stems from the kale. Cook in boiling salted water, drain and roughly chop then add to the pan.
  • Cook the pasta according to packet instructions, drain and add as well.
  • Finally, grate the cheese and add along with the basil and pine nuts.
  • Mix well and serve.
