Our Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is Cold Pressed And Full Of Flavour
Our organic extra virgin olive oil has been cold pressed produced by the coveted Greek Koutsourelia or Lianoelia Olives. Our oil is gently cold pressed under 50c which helps to retain all the precious minerals and nutrients such as healthy fats and antioxidants. Cold pressed olive oil contains higher levels of Oleic acid which are healthy monosaturated fats. Oleic acid helps to retain the quality of the oil for longer.
Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil has a smooth, but gentle, spicy taste which is derived from its high level of antioxidants. High levels of vitamins and healthy fats make it great for frying, roasting, baking, sautéing and using straight from the bottle as a salad dressing or bread dip.
In order to produce this healthiest form of oil, the olives are washed and then ground in stone mills forming a paste. The paste is then pressed to extract the oil. Our oil comes from the first press which results in an exceptionally high quality olive oil.
