Chocolate & Love Organic Fairtrade Dark Chocolate 70% With Pomegranate originates from Madagascar, valued worldwide for its unique flavour notes, with hints of citrus and natural sweetness. Pomegranate is tart and Madagascan cocoa beans are known for their natural fruity flavour brought together, they provide a truly tantalizing flavour experience.
The pieces of pomegranate complement the chocolate well and are lovely to happen upon! A fabulous level of sweetness and fruit to counter the dark chocolate which is dark and bold, with some slightly woody notes. An interesting chocolate which has been well judged on the flavour.
Chocolate & Love work with cooperatives certified by Fairtrade including:
Acopagro, El Quinacho, Cacvra and Oro Verde in Peru, Fundopo in The Dominican Republic, Cocabo in Panama and Cooperative Premium Cacao Sambirano CPCS in Madagascar for the cacao. The cacao is bought directly from the Fairtrade certified cooperatives.

Chocolate & Love are devoted to creating chocolate bars with high cocoa content and less sugar. There bars are excellent quality, ethically-made, and affordable.
They use FSC-certified paper for the outside paper wrapper of the 80g and 40g bars; paper from responsibly managed forests.
The inside wrapper is a transparent plastic-free film based on renewable resources as it is made from wood pulp from sustainably harvested wood. It is fully compostable and the foil is certified to EU and US biodegradability and composting standards in both industrial and home composting environments (EN13432, EN14995, ASTMD6400 and ISO 17088).
