Organic Caraway Seeds are a member of the carrot family and are native to Asia, Europe and North Africa. The caraway plant can reach 31 inches in height and has a mass of aromatic feathery leaves.

These delicious seeds go well in a range of cuisines and lend themselves to sweet and savoury recipes. The organic caraway seed has a distinct anise flavour and although they are related to fennel they are quite different in taste.

If you want to get technical caraway seeds are not actually ‘seeds’ at all – they are the fruit of the plant. The ‘seeds’ are harvested and then dried naturally with warm air. The result is crunchy fresh seeds which are full of flavour.
