Organic Coconut Palm Sugar has become a staple in the whole food world because of its addictive ‘caramelly’ flavour.   Coconuts have been harvested and used for thousands of years in South and South-East Asia for their hard shell, firm flesh, fragrant water, delicious oil and their sweet palm flower nectar!

Organic coconut Palm sugar is probably the most delicious of all these uses and it contains a wide range of vital nutrients it is a perfect choice for anyone following a whole food diet.  Coconut sugar is a perfect addition to baking recipes, raw desserts or simply to sweeten herbal teas.

To make this special sugar the harvesters cut a line on the flower of the coconut palm and the liquid sap is collected.  The sap is heated to evaporate any moisture and reduce it into sugar crystals.  The end result looks a bit like demerara sugar and has a rich, aromatic flavour similar to caramel.  This rich, fragrant sugar is deep brown in colour and absolutely delicious.
