Organic Penne Pasta was designed by Giovanni Battista Capurro in 1865!

Organic Penne Pasta is made using durum wheat semolina.  Giovanni patented a diagonal cutting machine and so penne was born in a village in Italy.  Penne makes quick and tasty dishes, its long tubes fills up with any pasta sauce for a satisfying pasta experience.  You can rustle up simple pasta lunches or indulgent creamy dinners in no time.  Penne pasta is absorbent, soft and compliments any pasta recipe.

Quick Penne

  1. Place the penne in a pan.
  2. Add boiling water to cover by an inch.
  3. Bring to the boil and then simmer.
  4. After 8 minutes check for softness.
  5. Serve with your favourite sauce.


For optimum freshness keep in a cool place away from moisture and direct sunlight.  Store in a tightly sealed bag or container.


Family Tip:

  1. Penne is perfect in baked or boiled pasta dishes.
  2. If you like fresh herbs combine olive oil, marjoram, basil, garlic, salt and almond flakes.  Serve over penne for a fresh, tasty dish.
