Description

Organic Quinoa Flakes are a great alternative to refined cereals.

Organic Quinoa flakes are derived from whole quinoa (which is actually a seed rather than a grain).  Quinoa flakes are made by gently heating the hulled grain or seed and then rolling them flat.

These versatile flakes can be used in breads, cakes and biscuits as an alternative to traditional wheat based flours.  Quinoa flakes are nutrient rich and a great option for those looking for alternatives due to allergy or intolerance.

Quinoa is a pseudo-grain which means that although we use it as a grain it is actually a seed.   This means it is higher in nutrients and protein than most grains and makes these flakes a perfect nutritional boost to your breakfast.

We also stock a selection of organic quinoa grain.
