Organic Short Grain White Rice – simple, tasty, everyday rice.

Organic Short Grain White Rice is a simple rice variety perfect for a wide range of dishes, especially those which call for a softer texture. White rice is a popular choice because it is delicate and absorbs the flavours and juices of a dish.  As the name suggests, short grain rice is a shorter, plump shape and this makes it soft and comforting in recipes.  If you prefer long grain which has a slender, longer shape then try our organic long grain white or brown rice.

Short grain rice is perfect for soft warming dishes and can accompany any tasty curry or stew.  It cooks to a light, fluffy texture quickly and is perfect to combine with lunchtime salads or indulgent dinners.

We also stock a range of speciality rices such as organic wild rice, organic black rice, organic brown basmati rice and organic red rice.

Origin: Italy

Allergen Information: Packed on premises that handle gluten, tree nuts, sesame, soya, peanuts.
