Garlic and Kale Pasta Recipe
Try this plant-based pasta dish made with kale, garlic, fennel and chili. There is nothing more warming than a delicious pasta recipe. This Sicilian style pasta recipe is packed with flavour and nutrition.

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp organic extra virgin olive oil
- 300 g organic textured vegetable protein
- 2 shallots
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/2 red chilli
- 1/2 tsp organic fennel seeds
- 150 g kale
- 1 tbsp organic pinenuts
- 100 g parmesan or plant-based alternative
- A large handful of basil
- 400 g organic penne pasta
Instructions
- Add the plant-based meat to a pan with the olive oil and cook for 5 minutes on a medium heat.
- Chop the shallots, add to the pan and season generously with salt and pepper.
- Finely chop the garlic and chilli. Lightly crush the fennel seeds.
- Add all to the pan and continue to cook for another 5 minutes whilst stirring regularly.
- Next, remove the stems from the kale. Cook in boiling salted water, drain and roughly chop then add to the pan.
- Cook the pasta according to packet instructions, drain and add as well.
- Finally, grate the cheese and add along with the basil and pine nuts.
- Mix well and serve.
