Description

Snacking on the go is both tasty and easy with our organic roasted and salted almonds.

With a full-bodied taste that will leave you wanting to devour the entire packet, our organic roasted and salted almonds  are perfect for sprinkling on salads for an extra crunch. There is a reason why almonds are regarded as one of the most popular nuts in the world, with their calcium and vitamin E levels.

The almond itself is actually regarded as a seed rather than a nut, due to growing in a deciduous tree. This tree itself is native to the Middle East, but is easily cultivated and as such is grown all over Europe, including Spain, where these yummy almonds originate from.

These organic roasted and salted almonds are unblanched, meaning they have been shelled but still have their skin intact, giving them their rich, brown colour. In comparison, our organic blanched almonds have been heat treated with water to reveal the creamy, white seed flesh underneath the skin.

If you like other nuts that are roasted and salted, try our organic pistachios or organic peanuts. Alternatively, we stock unblanched almonds that are not roasted or salted.

Ingredients: Organic Almonds (96.3%), salt (2.1%), organic sunflower oil.

Origin: Spain

Allergen Information: Packed on premises that handle gluten, tree nuts, sesame and soya.

Family Tips:

  1. Mix with some chocolate products or cacao nibs, as well as some dried fruit, for a homemade trail mix that is sure to be a hit with all ages!
  2. To make a yummy almond butter, put 300g of these roasted and salted almonds into a food processor and whiz for 12 minutes, stopping every 30 seconds to a minute to scrape down the sides. Once smooth, dollop a good amount of honey in to taste and give a quick final blitz. Perfect as a spread on toast in the morning, and will keep up to three weeks in the fridge.
