Organic Whole Hemp Seeds are perfect for hemp milk.

Organic whole hemp seeds contain the whole hull so make a good choice for home-made hemp milk.  Hemp is a great addition for vegetarians as a source of protein and fat (omega 3, 6 and 9) and contains a full spectrum of amino acids which our bodies cannot produce.  Needless to say, the milk you make will be a rich source of goodness for any diet.

Hemp is one of the most widely used crops in the world and is used to make textiles, building materials, body products, cleaning products and of course health foods.

These tough seeds have a soft creamy centre which makes a delicious thick, frothy milk rich in nutrients.  If you want to add your hemp to recipes or sprinkle it on cereal then choose our organic hulled hemp seed.

n.b. Whole seeds can be eaten in their natural state but tend to be too crunchy for most palates.

Storage

For optimum freshness keep in a cool place away from moisture and direct sunlight.  Store in a tightly sealed bag or container.

Family Tip:

  1. These whole seeds are best used to make creamy sweet hemp milk which keeps in the fridge for 2-3 days.
  2. We add the milk to smoothie recipes, use it in our porridge and drink it straight from the fridge.
  3. We also like to add a dash of organic turmeric powder and honey to make it utterly delicious.
