Thai Basil Stir Fry Recipe
An aromatic, plant-based stir-fry made with garlic, ginger and toasted peanuts.

Ingredients
- 400 g organic tempeh
- 1 large thumb of ginger
- 1 red chilli
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp plant-based fish sauce
- 1 tbsp ketjap manis
- 50 g peas
- 30 g organic peanuts (toasted)
- A handful of Thai basil
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Instructions
- Heat a large wok or frying pan and add the sesame oil.
- Add the plant based meat, break up in the pan and cook on a high heat for 4-5 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Peel and grate the ginger. Finely chop the garlic and chilli.
- Add to the pan and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the soy, fish sauce and ketjap manis and continue to cook for another 2 minutes.
- Add the peas and cook for a final 2 minutes.
- Finely chop the toasted peanuts and add to the pan along with the Thai basil.
- Give a final mix and serve over rice.
