Peanut Butter Flapjack Recipe
We just love this deliciously chewy oat bar made with nuts and seeds. This is such an easy flapjack recipe which tastes great and keeps you full between meals. Whether you are looking to feed hungry children on the school run, or give yourself a lift before lunch, these are a great staple to any household.If you are looking for good protein sources, then this is a great snack idea. You can even try adding a tbsp of your favourite protein powder to boost it.

Ingredients
- 250 g organic oats
- 50 g organic pumpkin seeds
- 150 g organic pecans
- 100 g butter or plant-based alternatives
- 50 g organic brown sugar
- 3 tbsp agave
- 150 g organic peanut butter
- natural fine sea salt
Instructions
- Roughly chop the pecans and pumpkin seeds and place in a baking tray along with the oats.
- Roast at 200c for approximately 10 minutes until they lightly colour.
- Melt the butter and sugar together in a large saucepan.
- Add the agave, peanut butter and salt, combine then remove from the heat.
- Next, add the oats, pecans and pumpkin seeds and mix together well.
- Line a baking tray with baking paper and turn the mixture out into it.
- Bake at 200c for 20-25 minutes then remove and let cool completely before cutting into bars.

We have made 2 batches of these now…think I will double the recipe this time. So good and healthy.
