Organic Golden (Inca) Berries have been cultivated for centuries.

Golden Berries otherwise known as Inca berries have a deep rooted history in South America where they are hailed for their nutritional benefits.  These tart, orange-brown berries are well known for their bioflavanoid content and their sweet and sour flavour makes them a tasty treat.  Organic Golden Inca Berries are higher in antioxidants than apples, pomegranates, brocolli and goji berries.

The botanical name is Physalis peruviana L. and you may have eaten them fresh as a garnish on desserts – a bright orange berry.  If you haven’t tried these before then they are definitely worth a try, they are a delicious treat and make a refreshing change from more popular dried fruits.

Organic Inca Berries are high in Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Potassium and a source of Iron.

vitamin A: This vitamin contributes to normal skin, vision and immunity.

Vitamin C: This well known nutrient contributes to normal function of the immune system during and after intense physical exercise and is necessary for normal collagen formation.  It is also essential to normal functioning of the immune system and the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
