Organic Oat bran is made by removing the inedible outer hull of the oat groat. Oat bran is the outer husk of the oat groat.

Oat bran is a great source of soluble fibre (beta-glucans) and many other important vitamins and minerals. Oat bran has high levels of protein and fibre and less calories than oat flakes.

Oat bran can be used to make porridge or can be used in baking.

Ingredients

100g organic oat bran

2 cups water

1 1/2 cups mylk

Method

  1. Place ingredients in a saucepan on medium heat, simmer for 3 minutes.
