Description

Organic, Gluten-free Arrowroot Powder

Arrowroot is a fine, flavour-neutral starch that steps in when you need to thicken sauces. It can be used like flour and is a useful alternative to traditional wheat-based flours.

Mix a tablespoon with cold water, whisk it into hot gravy, stew, or fruit glaze, and the liquid turns clear and silky. Because arrowroot stays stable in acidic dishes, it’s handy for lemon curd, berry compote and glossy stir-fry sauces.

Thanks to its binding properties, it’s also handy when baking with gluten-free flours like organic coconut flour or organic chickpea flour.

It’s 100% natural, easy to digest, and rich in vital nutrients, a staple for any kitchen that leans towards healthier, allergen-friendly cooking.

How to Use Organic Arrowroot Powder:

  • Use 1 tbsp to thicken soups, stews, or gravies (mix with cold water first).
  • Add to gluten-free baking for better texture and binding.
  • Create silky custards or pie fillings without cornflour.
  • Great for homemade sauces like stir-fry glazes or puddings.

For a basic face mask mix 20g of arrowroot powder with 20g of organic neem powder and create a paste with water. Smooth it on and leave it for 20 minutes before rinsing, and come out glowing.
