Description

Organic Chickpea Flour is a dense flour which adds texture and flavour to baking.

Organic chickpea flour is a delicious alternative to traditional wheat flours as it is naturally gluten free.   This tasty organic flour is milled from whole dried chickpeas.

Because chickpea flour is ground down from the whole pea it contains the same nutritional value as chickpeas themselves.  Just one 25g serving contains high levels of folate and is a source of Copper and Manganese.  This makes chickpea flour is a great choice nutritionally and it contains more fibre and protein than wheat flour.  If you need somewhere to get started with this tasty flour give this chickpea omelette recipe a try or have a go at our turmeric falfal recipe.
