Organic Blanched Peanuts

From: £2.99

(£2.99 inc. VAT)

Organic Blanched Peanuts are high in vitamin E.

Organic Blanched Peanuts have been plunged into hot water to remove the outer skin.  This makes them sweeter and creamier than our organic paleskin peanuts which still contain the reddish skin. Other varieties of nut are often preferred to the humble peanut, but their nutritional content might convince you otherwise.  Peanuts are actually not nuts at all, but the edible seed of a tuber which grows underground.  Despite growing differently from other nuts, they have the same classification because of their nutritional content.

Peanut butter is probably the reason that peanuts are one of the most popular nuts around, this is really easy to make yourself and will contain nothing other than these nutrient rich nuts.  You can use the peanut butter in baking, why not try this peanut butter cookie recipe?

If you want to make your own trail mix why not try adding organic blanched peanuts to organic corinthian currants or organic sultanas for a nutrient rich, high energy snack.
