Organic Dried Marjoram is perfect in Mediterranean cooking.

Organic Dried Marjoram is a nutrient dense herb which blends perfectly with basil and rosemary.  Marjoram is an aromatic herb closely related to organic oregano.  Similarly to oregano it is a great source of antioxidants and is renowned for its antimicrobial properties.

This popular herb is most commonly known for its use in Italian cuisine.  It is a perfect addition to soups, stews and sauces.

Marjoram is a perennial herb which is sensitive to the cold so prefers sunny climates.  The delicate top leaves are cut just before the organic marjoram plant flowers and then dried slowly to preserve the flavour.

If you like experimenting with flavours it goes particularly well with organic dried basil, thyme and rosemary and is a perfect addition to your own Italian spice mix.

Cooking Instructions

Add a touch of marjoram during cooking but add the rest at the end to preserve its nutrients and get the most of its flavour.



For optimum freshness keep in a cool place away from moisture and direct sunlight.  Store in a tightly sealed bag or container.

  1. We use marjoram in our everyday spice mix which we add to tomato sauces and bean stews.
  2. Marjoram is best added at the end of cooking.
